How to Schedule an Email
- Compose your email as usual.
- Instead of clicking "Send", click the arrow next to the Send
button.
- Select Schedule send.
- Choose a preset time or "Pick date & time" to customize.
Lesson 2: Undo Send
The lifesaver feature for when you spot a typo just as you hit send.
Configuring Undo Send
By default, you only have 5 seconds. Let's increase that.
- Go to Settings (⚙️) → See all settings.
- In the "General" tab, find "Undo Send".
- Change "Send cancellation period" to 30 seconds.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes.

Enabling Templates
First, enable the feature: Settings → Advanced → Templates → Enable → Save Changes.
Creating and Using Templates
- Compose a draft email with the content you want to save.
- Click the three dots (⋮) near the trash icon.
- Go to Templates → Save draft as template →
Save as new template.
- To use it: Open a new email, click the three dots → Templates → Select your
template.

Creating a Smart Filter
Example: Automatically label and archive newsletters.
- Click the search options icon (sliders) in the search bar.
- Enter criteria (e.g., From: [email protected] or Has the words: "Unsubscribe").
- Click Create filter.
- Check "Skip the Inbox (Archive it)" and "Apply the label..." (choose a label).
- Click Create filter.
